Musings on a McCain Candidacy - Campaign 2008

Some fellow POWs and fighter pilots have a thing or two to say about John McCain. McCain is NOT the person we want to have in the White House. I was about to say "representing us", but then John doesn't really represent anyone but the illegal aliens. We are merely an inconvenience on his way to the presidency.

Also see more links below the VDare.com article. This VDare article was cross posted here last year and is being reposted now, January 17, 2008.

McCain Musings On Memorial Day Weekend

By Joe Guzzardi

When the “John McCain for President, 2008” campaign shifts into high gear, we’ll be hearing ad nauseum about the candidate’s heroism, character and patriotism.

Too bad none of it is true. [NO HOTLINKING]

America could use a heroic figure with a high moral code and a true love of country. But McCain is far from that man.

When you do a simple analysis of McCain’s personal and professional life and lay it out over thirty years, his picture is ugly.

Think of my column as a review of McCain low points that you will be hearing less about---at least from the GOP—as the countdown to the 2008 presidential primaries begins.

Heroism

McCain is a sore point among other U.S. POWs. Most resent the preferential medical treatment McCain received after he was shot down in 1967 and revealed to the North Vietnamese Army that his father, Admiral John McCain, Jr., commanded all U.S. forces in Europe and was soon-to-be commander of all forces in the Pacific, including Vietnam.

From the moment the NVA knew who the injured McCain’s father was, he became a “special patient.” The NVA hoped to eventually squeeze valuable information out of McCain.

And his fellow POWs remained angry with McCain when, in 1992 as a member of the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs, he demanded a U.S. Justice Department investigation into Vietnam veteran activists and their organizations.

McCain called the organized POW’s:

The most craven, most cynical and most despicable human beings to ever run a scam.

McCain got his wish. The DOJ investigated and found no reason to charge the POW/MIA organizations with any wrongdoing. [Sen. McCain Wants To Be President By Ted Sampley, U.S. Veteran Dispatch, January-February 1997 Issue]

Character

In 1980, McCain divorced his wife Carol, who had been disfigured in an automobile accident while he imprisoned. One month later, McCain remarried Cindy Lou Hensley, heiress to Phoenix-based Hensley & Co., the nation's second-largest Anheuser-Busch distributor.

His new trophy wife’s family money launched McCain into politics.

Then, ten years after his ugly divorce, McCain was fingered as one of the Keating Five—a group of five Senators investigated on ethics charges. The five met with Federal Home Loan Bank chairman Ed Grey allegedly to influence the FHLB to delay seizing the assets of soon-to-be convicted racketeer Charles Keating’s struggling (and eventually bankrupt) Lincoln Savings and Loan.

Although McCain was never indicted, an investigation revealed that his Congressional and Senate campaigns had been financed in part by donations from Keating. Additionally, McCain took a total of nine family trips paid for by Keating including three to the banker’s villa in the Bahamas.

The federal bail out of Lincoln cost taxpayers $2.6 billion.

Patriotism

Now McCain has become one of the authors of the least patriotic bill in American history, S. 2611, which the U.S. Senate voted on May 25th. [2006]

Unable to refrain from insulting Americans worried about the devastating impact of S. 2611, McCain immediately after the vote said:

“Why not say to those undocumented workers who are working the jobs that the rest of us refuse, 'come out from the shadows.'”

Amazing—three lies in one sentence: “undocumented workers,” “jobs that the rest of us refuse,” and “come out of the shadows.”

And another McCain lie:

In poll after poll after poll, Americans support earned citizenship and a comprehensive solution” [Immigration Foreshadows 2008 GOP Contest, by Liz Sidoti, Associated Press, May 25, 2006]

The truth, to which McCain is averse, is that no polls indicate anything of the kind. Given a neutral choice that avoids the words “amnesty” and “illegal alien,” voters chose the House approach, HR 4437, to S. 2611 by 2-1.

(Read Steve Sailer’s excellent column on polls here.)

In all, McCain’s record is dismal.

Given McCain’s resume, it’s fair to ask whom he represents and where we can see evidence of his principles at work.

McCain does not represent:

  • Americans who adhere to family values

  • Scrupulous businessmen, investors and politicians who would never consider taking nine junkets funded by a special interest donor.

  • Fellow Navy officers.

I asked Henry Lenoir for insight into McCain’s real self.  Lenoir is the ex-fighter pilot who wrote to VDARE.COM that McCain would be a “disaster” as president.

Said Lenoir:

McCain’s Hanoi experiences provide effective cover for his political ambitions. People don’t see that there isn’t much behind the image.  People also assume, based on his Vietnam service and his party affiliation, that he is a red-blooded American patriot.  As for me, I wonder if he and President Bush share a Mexican paymaster.”

McCain has consistently and knowingly done the wrong thing to those closest to him…his family, his constituents and his war buddies.

And he has knowingly and without fail acted in the best interests of only one person…Senator John McCain.

History Lesson, a little humor to brighten your day!

This was received in email and I am passing it along to you...

The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:

1. Liberals

2. Conservatives.

Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery.

That's how villages were formed.

Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to B-B-Q at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement.

Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly B-B-Q's and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement.

Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became known as girlie-men or wussies. Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided.

Over the years Conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth; the elephant.

Liberals are symbolized by the jackass.

A few modern liberals like Mexican light beer (with lime added), but most prefer a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc, with passion fruit and kiwi aromas which are marked by grassy notes, then rounded out on the midpalate by peach flavors Crisp and refreshing, with a hint of chalky minerality on the finish; or Perrier bottled water. They eat raw fish but dislike beef. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare.

Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, Ivy League professors, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated-hitter rule because it wasn't fair to make the pitcher also bat.

Conservatives drink Sam Adams, Harpoon IPA or Yuengling Lager. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, athletes, Marines, and generally anyone who works productively

Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.

Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America . They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing.

Here ends today's lesson in world history: It should be noted that a Liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily respond to the above before forwarding it.

A Conservative will simply laugh and be so convinced of the absolute truth of this history that it will be forwarded immediately to other true believers and to more liberals just to piss them off.

Trace Adkins - Fightin' Words

WARNING: There is some strong language at the end... if you are easily offended, you came to the wrong place. If you want to get uppity about it, the government may protect your free speech out there, but get in my face and I will have to exercise my right to give you an ass whoopin!

...and here are some more great videos. ENJOY!

Toby Keith - Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue

John McCain commits (political) suicide

In today's edition of the Crapitol News on the Political Obituary page is the sad news that John McCain has commited political suicide, killing his chances of becoming the President of the USA. He might try hyphenating his name adding something with a latin sound and head south of the border with Bush.

cross posted to No Amnesty - GOT IT?

John, your fellow Vietnam vets will mourn your passage. We are still in shock that you could be such a heinous traitor, a betrayer of the country we fought for. We could believe it of John Kerry with ease, but you?

[heinous: hei·nous Pronunciation [hey-nuhs] - adjective - hateful; odious; abominable; totally reprehensible: a heinous offense.]

The Gathering of Eagles in Washington, DC

It was a gathering of Warriors against the Wimps of the hard left... and Hanoi Jane/John didn't bother to attend when it bacame apparent that their side was outnumber by thousands. Rest assured that they (along with other prominent leftist politicians and entertainers) would have been there if the MSM coverage had been in their favor. I was unable to attend but seeing the results here on the net helps.

Gathering Of Eagles: The American Right Stands Tall, Proud And 30,000 Strong

Never before have the anti war protestors been confronted by so many of the silent majority. Before noon there were well over 20,000 vets and counter protestors; I don't know what the actual number was - more for sure. Veterans came by car, bus, and the airlines. I met people there to protect the monuments against war protestors vandalism from Vermont, Indiana, Florida, and most other states. I saw groups represented by their jackets from almost every state in the country The ranks of the so called anti war protestors were stacked by their true representatives revealed by their speeches. Socialists, the communist front organization A.N.S.W.E.R., Many were wearing Che Grevara t-shirts and signs with his picture on it. Many other groups spoke with not even a connection to supporting the troops or being anti war they were there to promote other interests the Green party was only one unrelated group. A day to remember. Code Pink cowered out and did not even have a sign or representation. Jane Fonda - nowhere to be seen. Veterans lined up on opposite sides of the streets and jeered them until they left over the bridge to the Pentagon.

UPDATE: National Park Service says, "30,000 Eagles"....

The bottom line: Patriotic, Right Wing and Pro-War demonstrators outnumbered the anti-war socialists, communists and Muslims today in Washington, D.C. in the sixth year of World War III.

Please take me back begs Omar Bakri

On this glorious January 1st 2007, the British tabloid The Sun prints that an Islamic hatemonger who left England in a huff is begging to get back to safety. Omar is definitely in the "wimp" category!

Here is the story...

Exiled Bakri in SOS plea

By DAVID WOODING

Whitehall Editor

January 1, 2007

EXILED [Islamofascist] preacher of hate Omar Bakri has begged the Royal Navy to rescue him from war-torn Beirut.

The Muslim cleric who fled Britain last year, tried to board a ship full of women and children yesterday but was turned away.

He also wrote to the British embassy asking to be allowed back on “humanitarian grounds”.

In an email to officials, dole scrounger Bakri pleaded: “The current situation in Beirut left me without any choice but to appeal to you to grant me a visit visa to see my children for one month.”

But his bid to sneak on one of our ships was blocked at harbour gates by sharp-eyed officials.

Bakri, 46, left his family in Edmonton, North London, last August and went to Lebanon after a Sun campaign to kick him out.

Charles Clarke, then Home Secretary, banned him from returning here.

The mad mullah, who hailed terrorists as “magnificent” martyrs, bought a £150,000 bolthole in the exclusive Doha district of Beirut.

In March he boasted: “When I left England I bought a one-way ticket out. I never want to see the place again.”

But cowardly Bakri changed his tune as soon as bombs started dropping.

He contacted the British embassy asking to be allowed back to see the six children he deserted. Bakri said last night: “What concerns me is my safety. I’d be happy with a month’s visa but this morning they told me I couldn’t because I’m not a British citizen any more.”

Shadow Immigration Minister Damian Green said last night: “This man has a cheek trying to come back to Britain after what he did here.”

A diplomat said: “He hasn’t spoken to any of our people. But he may have been turned away by security guards patrolling the port entrance.”

Anjem Choudary, Bakri’s right-hand man, said last night: “He plans to write to the British authorities and see if they will give him a visa for a passage out.”

Syrian Bakri can’t return there because he faces 20 years’ jail over a coup bid.

Over 20 years in the UK, Bakri sponged £300,000 in benefits. He preached violence and praised the 9/11 al-Qaeda terrorists as the Magnificent 19.

Bakri, dubbed the Tottenham Ayatollah, was a member of al-Muhajiroun, which he left to form al-Ghuraba.

Both have since been outlawed.

There is something familiar about this story. I think that I have posted it some time in the past, maybe as much as a year ago... I will have to try a search and see if that turns up anything.

"Halp us jon carry - we r stuk hear n irak"

The Gateway Pundit and other have coverage of the latest Kerry antics...

Kerry is back over in Iraq making some juicy photo ops.

"Jon Carry" [wimp] will not be visiting these Minnesota National Guard troops [warriors] still deployed on a base in Talil, Iraq.

It looks to me like 'jon carry' is looking for a way to spit polish his pitted, tarnished image before announcing his intent to have a go at the presidency again. His hide will be a little thicker this time around but the Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry are still here. Jon wants to somehow be an anti-war protester - pro-war hawk. He had it both ways on every topic last time and he will try to do it again. That is how he laughingly became known as "Flipper".

John Kerry is...

... a turd and a traitor that should be flushed down the sewer. He has taken to his old ways and is once again insulting and slandering our troops as he did back in 1971 as an agent for the north Vietnamese communists. See my Vietnam Vets Against John Kerry blog page for other info. I have some sections of the amendments to the constitution, federal law, and the UCMJ that apply to Kerry. If all are as listed, Kerry must be prosecuted as a traitor, and we have gross dereliction of duty by other federal bureaucrats for not carrying out this prosecution.

Thanks and a hat tip to Saul Anuzis "That's Saul Folks!" and Rob Hruska (via email) for the picture.

Here is how some of those troops reacted to Kerry's insult:

Sen. Kerry: "You know education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't you get stuck in Iraq." (NBC 4's Website, www.nbc4.tv, Accessed 10/31/06)

"Whatever the intent, Senator Kerry was wrong to say what he said," said Democratic Rep. Harold Ford Jr., running for Senate in Tennessee.

"Sen. Kerry's remarks were poorly worded and just plain stupid," said Montana Senate President Jon Tester, a Democrat trying to unseat GOP Sen. Conrad Burns. "He owes our troops and their families an apology."

The White House didn't back down from its call for a Kerry apology. White House press secretary Tony Snow said Kerry "put gasoline on the fire" of an already sizzling midterm election campaign. And the Republican National Committee released a Web ad, to be e-mailed to GOP activists and state party officials, called "Apologize."

"Sen. Kerry may have botched the line, but what he said was insulting to the troops, and what he ought to say is, 'Look, I botched the line, but I'm sorry for giving offense,' " Snow said on CBS's "The Early Show."

Ann Coulter: John Kerry is the "botched joke" of American politics. For those of you keeping score at home, John Kerry has now called members of the U.S. military (a) stupid, (b) crazy, (c) murderers, (d) rapists, (e) terrorizers of Iraqi women and children. I wonder what he'll call them tomorrow. Whatever Karl Rove is paying John Kerry to say stupid things, it's worth every penny.

[Kerry is now trying to pass it off as a joke that came out wrong... Mr VVAW Kerry is dodging and weaving and has his party setting up a heavy spin cycle for him.]

John Kerry: U.S. Soldiers Not 'Smart'

Sen. John Kerry has sparked outrage by suggesting that U.S. troops in Iraq are uneducated and not "smart.”

At a campaign event for California gubernatorial candidate Phil Angelides at Pasadena City College on Monday, the Massachusetts Democrat and Vietnam veteran said: "You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

Kerry’s troop-bashing remarks belie the truth about the educational level of U.S. troops. According to figures readily available on the Internet, 99.9 percent of the enlisted forces have at least a high school education, 73.3 percent have some college, 16.2 percent have an associate’s degree or equivalent semester hours, and 4.7 have a bachelor’s degree.

What’s more, over 85 percent of field grade officers have advanced degrees – 70.7 percent have master’s degrees, 12.1 percent have professional degrees and 2.5 percent have doctorate degrees.

"Senator Kerry not only owes an apology to those who are serving, but also to the families of those who’ve given their lives in this,” White House press secretary Tony Snow said regarding Kerry’s remarks.

"This is an absolute insult.”

Sen. John McCain, another Vietnam veteran, also called on Kerry to apologize, saying: "The suggestion that only the least educated Americans would agree to serve in the military and fight in Iraq is an insult to every soldier serving in combat.”

Kerry's Response...

Sen. John Kerry: 'I Apologize to No One'

Sen. John Kerry has refused to apologize for his remarks suggesting that U.S. troops in Iraq are uneducated and not "smart,” instead charging that the White House has deliberately misconstrued his comments.

At a Tuesday afternoon press conference in Seattle, Kerry said "I apologize to no one” for what he categorized as criticism of the Bush administration’s Iraq war policy.

Kerry touched off a storm of protest when he told a college audience on Monday that "if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

The comments drew demands for an apology from Sen. John McCain, the National Commander of The American Legion, and others. White House press secretary Tony Snow called Kerry’s statement "an absolute insult.”

But at his press conference, Kerry tried to give his remarks a tortuous spin, saying in effect that what he meant was if you’re like President Bush and you don’t do your homework – listen to advice from others – before committing American troops, "you end up in Iraq.”

American Legion to Kerry: Apologize Now

The National Commander of The American Legion called on Sen. John Kerry to apologize for suggesting that American troops in Iraq are uneducated.

"As a constituent of Senator Kerry's I am disappointed. As leader of The American Legion, I am outraged," said National Commander Paul A. Morin.

The commander said the callous comments by Kerry ripped open wounds caused by previous comments made during the Vietnam War, when Kerry returned to the United States and accused U.S. military of unspeakable atrocities against civilians in southeast Asia.

"A generation ago, Sen. Kerry slandered his comrades in Vietnam by saying that they were rapists and murderers. It wasn't true then and his warped view of today's heroes isn't true now."

Conscientious objector fraud

While researching people who use their military enlistments to get schooling from the government before claiming that they never realized they might have to kill while in uniform... conscientious objectors, I ran across this:

A Leftist Youth Journal

November 22, 2004

Our Son: a Marine Who Won't Kill

By Kathie Helmkamp

(reprinted from www.counterpunch.org)

My name is Kathie Helmkamp and I live in Fredericksburg, VA. My husband Mark, has been a Naval Officer for 25 years now, which may have a little to do with our son, Trent Helmkamp, joining the Marines through their Delayed Entry Program in June 2003. He was 17 years old and had just finished his junior year of high school.

He was shipped off to boot camp June 2004, expecting to find the adventure and personal fulfillment that the recruiters and brochures had promised. He was going to be one of "The Few, The Proud, A Marine" and "The Change Would Be Forever," and after his four years of service he would have money for college.

He did not find what the military was hoping and told him he would find, but rather he experienced something that would "Change Him Forever." He left to train at Parris Island without having a realistic concept of what he was about to do. Somehow, all the glossy brochures and videos about the Marines had failed to mention the dehumanization of military training and war.

The thought of killing another human being, and the reality of all the innocent lives lost during war, didn't really hit him until he was at boot camp. He came to realize that what might be asked of him in the future, killing others, was not something he could do and that it would violate his conscience. On the rifle range, the human shaped targets began to seem so real. They became another human being, someone's father, son, or daughter whose life he was about to end, changing their families lives forever. His beliefs really crystallized during bayonet training and while learning to stomp on others throats to kill them. At that time he knew how he would feel, shooting and taking the life of another. His conscience had awakened and he was going to listen to it.

While at boot camp he became depressed and experienced anxiety. He felt trapped and had no one to talk to. Most of his letters home were hard for me to read, as he spoke of how much he did not want to be in the military and had made the biggest mistake of his life, but felt there was nothing that could be done about it.

He graduated on September 10, 2004, and came home for leave. He was depressed and confused and was sent to see a military chaplain and a mental health counselor at the Marine base close to our home. He knew he was now a part of something that would expect things from him that he couldn't do.

While he was home he heard about conscientious objectors. He didn't know that people in the military who opposed war and killing could apply for conscientious objector status and possibly be discharged. The process is long and hard and many people that apply are denied it.

Still depressed he left for Camp Lejeune in NC, September 28, 2004. He saw a mental health counselor the next day and spoke to his commanding officer declaring himself a conscientious objector. He has a lawyer and has turned his application in to apply for a conscientious objector discharge. He is not supposed to have to train now that his application is in, but rather be assigned duties that conflict as little as possible with his beliefs until his application is reviewed. He does not want to pick up a weapon, but has been told by someone there that he will be ordered to train and if he refuses he will be taken to the brig.

I wanted to send his story out in hopes of finding people that will support him and write him letters expressing that support. He is against killing and war and is willing to go to jail to stand up for his beliefs. I fear for his safety, as a fellow Marine has already punched him in the face causing a cut that required stitches.

I am hoping the process will work for him and he will be home soon. I am hoping he will not be ordered to do things that would go against his beliefs, orders that he might have to refuse to obey. He realizes that going against the crowd may be the hardest thing he has done, but it is the only thing that he can do, that can lead to a real change for the better in his life, even if he has to go to jail.

I told him I felt that there were worse prisons than being behind bars. If a person goes against their beliefs they will be living in a prison of their own making filled with the visions and memories of the deaths and injustices they brought to others. There are many kinds of prisons. Sometimes a person is more free behind bars when they have followed their heart.

Kathie Helmkamp can be reached at: KamperTwo@aol.com

This is really heart wrenching (NOT!)... and makes you wonder. Is this kid a little on slow side? Did untieing momma's apron strings unhinge him? Is he a real life "Forrest Gump"? His momma is a real piece of work, sounding like the momma character in "The Water Boy". (I don't want my son playin no footseball!) I certainly hope her boy got his undesirable discharge and no eligibility for any government guaranteed tuition. I wonder if she is still married to the US navy officer father of this pussy-boy? Her email address is above if you want to comment. It was published at the socialist page linked above so this is not an "outing" of her.

I just did a google search on Trent Helmkamp. Here is another page... Trent downed a bunch of pills to suicide his way out!

Trent's suicide discharge!

He tried an overdose of pills as a way out!

[Hmmm those two dozen ex-lax didn't do the trick!]

Background on Trent:

Trent was a 17 year old high school student when he “considered” taking the Marine Corps recruiters up on the Delayed Entry Program. Kids still in school like Trent with their parents consent “sign up” (parents have to sign the paperwork for anyone under 18) and as soon as they graduate, off to boot camp. Trent’s parents, initially, were not in agreement with his desire to sign up for the Delayed Entry Program and at first would not agree to sign the consent papers for him. Trent did what all kids do when they are told “no” by mom and dad—he dug his heels in and became more determined to get them to sign the consent papers.

From what Trent’s mom and dad have told me in our many conversations, Trent begged, pleaded, asked and kept on asking, typical of all kids who are determined and who have “made up” their minds on something. It took Trent a few weeks, but in the end his parents finally acquiesced and signed the consent forms. In June of 2004, Trent, having graduated high school that month, was off to boot camp at Parris Island, S.C.

That Trent’s father is a career Naval Officer and Navy Diver, with 25 years active duty, more than likely had a sizeable influence on Trent and his wanting to be a Marine.

[That is a faulty assumption. My dad and ALL of my uncles were NAVY during WWII. When I ENLISTED after High School for Vietnam, I enlisted in the NAVY. This pussy-boy obviously wanted to be better than papa. He was going to be a big warrior MARINE while his daddy was a girlyman navy diver. Nothing that momma and pops could say would dissuade him. I wonder if Trent was like the misfit in the marine corp movie "Full Metal Jacket"? Apparently he is so full of movie BS where someone pops a few squibs, the scene shifts, and the actors get up again. What did Trent think he was going to do? Shake hands with the enemy? His apologists want us to believe that this is what he was told or believed.]

[TUFFSHITSKI! Give the asshole an undesirable discharge and be done with it! Hmmm...ya know what? I bet he will be running for congress within 5 years and will have Murtha and Kerry as sponsors or as advisors.]

Kerry: an illegal senator. Read the 14th Amendment-part 3.

Ever since John Kerry decided to run as a candidate for president, it has bothered me that this piece of crap human being could hold a high government elected position such as Senator. I know... he received a back alley pardon from President Peanut... but that does not take away the requirement of the 14th Amendment Part 3, regardless of any presidential power. The fact that he did the dirty deeds, and received an undesirable or worse discharge from the US navy and was stripped of his medals is indeed a FACT! Was there a general court martial for Kerry? If there was, the record seems to have been buried. The 14th amendment, part 3 still applies, regardless.

U.S. Constitution 14th Amendment part 3

3. No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Did congress hold a massed midnight session some time in the past and hold a vote to forgive Kerry for illegally treating with the North Vietnamese spies in Paris, France and who knows where else? Hmmm maybe it was quietly inserted somewhere in the congressional record using the permission to revise and extend? Still I can NOT recall any public vote by either the House or Senate to forgive Kerry. John F. Kerry holds his seat in the senate in violation of the constitution. By the constitution, not even the voters of his senate district have the power to forgive this. ONLY the congress (House and Senate), by a two thirds vote, may excuse his traitorous activities and allow him to hold his senate seat.

Both the house and senate have shirked a constitutional duty for a LOOOONG time now.

I call on the House of Representatives to start the parade by proclaiming that it has never voted to excuse his activities and to state that he be removed from office.
