General George Patton has some words of wisdom about Iraq

I found the link to this over in an amateur radio forum(???) Yes we do discuss all sorts of topics there. If you have delicte ears and sensitivities... DONT LISTEN.

George Patton (as portrayed and in real life) was not above a bit of profanity.

...and here is a link to use if you can not view this directly.

Mitt Romney - Reaganesque Demeanor? Give me a break!

Yuk Yuk Yuk This sounds like it could be the title to a Three Stooges Comedy.

Where Ronaldus magnus Maximus was a stright shooter and a real conservative, Mitt Romney is the plastic candidate that is twisting and remolding himself in all different directions to try to be everything to everyone while his record shows him as the liberal (not moderate) Republican governor of the Peoples Socialist Republic of Massachusetts.

From an email from Jason McBride, the Michigan state Romney organization director:

The fact that Massachusetts, where only 13 percent of registered voters are Republicans, could elect Romney governor by a five-point margin (50 percent versus 45 percent for his Democratic opponent) underscores his popularity among Republicans and Democrats alike. Romney speaks with the effortless delivery of the best news anchors, making the 60-year-old "the un-Bush," according to Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform. With looks, charisma, money, and family all working for him, can anything hold Romney back?

WOW, this was the puffiest of puff pieces so far. It was so wordy and said nothing of real substance. Mitt has obviously studied the other Massachusetts flipper, John Kerry, and is in full plastic mode ready to change into anything the voting public is expecting to hear.

The Gathering of Eagles in Washington, DC

It was a gathering of Warriors against the Wimps of the hard left... and Hanoi Jane/John didn't bother to attend when it bacame apparent that their side was outnumber by thousands. Rest assured that they (along with other prominent leftist politicians and entertainers) would have been there if the MSM coverage had been in their favor. I was unable to attend but seeing the results here on the net helps.

Gathering Of Eagles: The American Right Stands Tall, Proud And 30,000 Strong

Never before have the anti war protestors been confronted by so many of the silent majority. Before noon there were well over 20,000 vets and counter protestors; I don't know what the actual number was - more for sure. Veterans came by car, bus, and the airlines. I met people there to protect the monuments against war protestors vandalism from Vermont, Indiana, Florida, and most other states. I saw groups represented by their jackets from almost every state in the country The ranks of the so called anti war protestors were stacked by their true representatives revealed by their speeches. Socialists, the communist front organization A.N.S.W.E.R., Many were wearing Che Grevara t-shirts and signs with his picture on it. Many other groups spoke with not even a connection to supporting the troops or being anti war they were there to promote other interests the Green party was only one unrelated group. A day to remember. Code Pink cowered out and did not even have a sign or representation. Jane Fonda - nowhere to be seen. Veterans lined up on opposite sides of the streets and jeered them until they left over the bridge to the Pentagon.

UPDATE: National Park Service says, "30,000 Eagles"....

[The above link has more great photos of the event]

The bottom line: Patriotic, Right Wing and Pro-War demonstrators outnumbered the anti-war socialists, communists and Muslims today in Washington, D.C. in the sixth year of World War III.
