Late UPDATE on the GRCC tax vote...

The tax increase vote for GRCC went down once again. Usually these August tax votes are a slam dunk for the taxers. They line up their supporters quietly and minimum notice of the upcoming vote is given even more quietly. Most people seem to be totally unaware as it is low keyed all the way. People are getting in the end of summer activities and vacations and may be away from home on trips. The taxers cringe when activists start the JUST SAY NO TO NEW TAXES campaigns. The media gives no coverage to either side and keeps it quiet as an aid to the taxers. I noticed a short blurb on the local evening news the night before.

I wonder if GRCC will try a third tax increase vote in November?
