FREE Annual Credit Report
Didja know that you are entitled to an ANNUAL FREE CREDIT REPORT?
Here's a link to get yours from the BIG THREE (Experian, Trans Union, Equifax).
Be sure to get your report from all three because frequently, a report will be filed with one but not the rest. A few years ago, I had a Identity Theft problem, and all sorts of bad reports were filed against me in only ONE of them big three. It was enough to get me turned down for a car loan at a bank I had dealt with in the past. My credit union was much more understanding because they looked past it to the other bureaus. It took me two years to get all the fraudulent stuff out of my record.
