The Dems managed to keep that part concealed through use of sympathetic news media. They got the whole thing turned around into and investigation of the people who broke in looking for evidence about the prostitution ring.

The Nixon imbroglio was the last successful takedown that the Democrats had. Now they have to all stick together, keep their stories straight in the BIG LIE, and keep hammering away with it. They ignore all mentions about their participation in events that puts the lie to what they say.

Censure and Impeachment

The lunatic left still has censure and impeachment on the brain. Why? It is a hate thang! The lefties are experts on hating and hate crimes. They wander through life always under a dark cloud. I would not be surprized to learn that the suicide rate in the hard core socialist crowd is higher than the normal population. No one can walk around all the time with that much rage and hate bottled up all the time. Actually they have safety valves so Democrats vent randomly. Thus they lie and say that he lied about WMDs and other things when they also were saying them. Now "Democrat Selective Amnesia" has set in. This is a subset of the Democrat BIG LIE strategy.

Blue Dog Coalition Democrats - UPDATED!

What is a Blue Dog Coalition Democrat? They identify themselves as moderate to conservative Democrats. Is this possible? How is it possible for a Democrat to be "conservative"? What happens when Howard Dean and MoveOn.org issue marching orders to them? Listening to them speak on C-SPAN you would swear that you were listening to some of the "Contract With America" firebrands from 1994. They have at least one speaking point dead wrong.

• They claim that President Clinton gave us a balanced budget and that Bush blew it. All Clinton did was use projected numbers for 10 years out. He continued spending at a massive rate and and had the most massive tax increase in US history. His balanced budget was based on this tax increase but he had spending that used it all.
• They claim that there was actually a 69.2 billion SURPLUS in 1998 and they are calling on the country to balance the budget once again.
• I suggest that we freeze the budget at the current level for 10 years. NO INCREASES OF ANY KIND. It will self balance.
• Mostly they are pro-abortion.
• They are in the back pocket of the AFL-CIO.

The Democrats are redefining "conservative" prior to the 2006 elections as part of the Democrat BIG LIE campaign. They are trying to duck the "liberal" label by becoming faux-conservatives.

"If that much near-surface permafrost thaws, it could release considerable amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, and that could amplify global warming," said lead author David Lawrence, with the National Center for Atmospheric Research. "We could be underestimating the rate of global temperature increase."

Have them explain how your SUV is causing the sun to become more active, causing the global raising of the temperature by a fraction of a degree. Now ask them which weed they were chewing or smoking this morning.

AMMAN, Jordan - Two lawyers for Saddam Hussein said Monday that the former Iraqi president's half brother claims U.S. officials offered him a ranking government position in Iraq if he testified against Saddam but he rejected a deal.

Barazan Ibrahim purportedly made the claim Thursday during a closed-door hearing by the Higher Iraqi Tribunal, which is hearing war crimes charges against Saddam, Ibrahim and six other former officials.

American officials could not be reached for comment Monday, which was a U.S. holiday.

In Baghdad, Chief Prosecutor Jaafar al-Mousawi said he could speak only about the closed court hearing and said there was no attempt to cut a deal with Ibrahim then. He declined to discuss what was said at the session.

The Democrat BIG LIE (latest update)

The latest rendition of the Democrat BIG LIE: President Bush secretly authorized the NSA to eavesdrop domestically on voice communication and email. This is being spread at the behest of the DNC by the New York Times and other Democrat media organs.

The truth: Democrat Senator Jay Rockefeller knew about it. The covert judge used for this sort of thing knew. Possibly others were in the loop. This was not a unilateral decision.

The socialist Democrats are only interested in spinning their web of lies and in bringing about the defeat of the US at the hands of the allies, Osama and Saddam. There are even some RINOs who subscribe to this philosophy. RINO Senator John McCain has sponsored and is diligently pursuing a Terrorist Bill of Rights and means to prosecute any US soldier that violates it. It looks like we are being opened for another 9/11/01 style attack. The RINOs and a few other spineless bastards have refused to vote cloture on the filibuster of the renewal of the Patriot Act.
