Schwarz vs Walberg - Heavyweight title match...

...for the Michigan 7th district US House of Representatives seat.

  • Tim Walberg is the conservative Republican challenger and ex-Michigan state representative.
  • Joe is pro-abortion and has accepted campaign donations from Planned Parenthood.
  • Tim is Pro-Life and has the endorsement of Right To Life of Michigan.
  • Joe's endorsements - Dick DeVos, John Engler, Mike Troutman, Saul Anuzis, Dennis Hastert, Vern Ehlers, and more...
  • Tim's endorsements - Alan Cropsey, Leon Drolet, Former Representative Clyde LeTarte of Jackson County, Former Representative Margaret O’Connor of Washtenaw County

It looks to be the battle to watch here in Michigan... The heavily endorsed moderate incumbent vs the scrappy Conservative!

National Abortion Rights Action League rates Joe Schwarz at 25%... the only Michigan Republican US Congressman to have a NARAL rating.

This ought to warm the cockles of Algores cold little heart. He was reportedly somewhat anti-abortion until he came in close proximity to the Clintons. There is something corrupting about close association with those two. When they were in power over the Democrats, the rot spread far and wide. Now you have to look hard to find an old style Democrat. All the rest are New Democrats of the socialist persuasion.

S. Dakota bans most abortions

PIERRE, S.D. -- Gov. Mike Rounds signed legislation Monday banning nearly all abortions in South Dakota, setting up a court fight aimed at challenging the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion.

S. Dakota bans most abortions

This is the "World Title Match" that could not be arranged under the Clinton administration's political climate, and required the change of a personnel on the Supreme Court. We have had a generation-plus of "Holocaust of the Innocents" as the liberals celebrated their sacrament of abortion at Xhrist The Abortionist Church. They cannot say Christ. Remember this last Christmas when they all had Holiday Trees, and Merry Christmas was banned in favor of Happy Holiday. At best they might say XMAS so their church must the Church of Xhrist the Abortionist. There is a group of "Catholic" Democrats who recently signed a statement of their disagreement and disapproval of the Catholic church stand on abortion. I am working on a list showing their National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) voting rank.

WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court dealt a setback Tuesday to abortion clinics in a two-decade-old legal fight over abortion protests, ruling that federal extortion and racketeering laws cannot be used to ban demonstrations.

Anti-abortion groups brought the appeal after the 7th Circuit had asked a trial judge to determine whether a nationwide injunction could be supported by charges that protesters had made threats of violence absent a connection with robbery or extortion

The 8-0 decision ends a case that the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals had kept alive despite a 2003 decision by the high court that lifted a nationwide injunction on anti-abortion groups led by Joseph Scheidler and others.

Writing for the majority, Justice Stephen Breyer said Congress did not intend to create "a freestanding physical violence offense" in the federal extortion law known as the Hobbs Act.

Social activists and the AFL-CIO had sided with anti-abortion groups in arguing that similar lawsuits and injunctions could be used to thwart their efforts to change public policy or agitate for better wages and working conditions.

The absolute supreme irony of this story is that for years the courts have backed the abortion clinics and used the RICO laws to attack the freedom of speech rights of abortion protesters. Breyer (along with Ruth Buzzy Ginsgerg) is one of the libs on the court so this is a REAL surprise.Hmmm what planet have I been on? They lifted the injunction in 2003? I guess I have to pull my head out of tech manuals and start watching more news... I am in almost total shock about AFL-CIO siding with the anti-abortion groups. They must have had some picket lines shut down somewhere under the same interpretation of the RICO statutes.
