Banished Islamofascist Begs For Britain's Protection

From The Captain's Quarters...

O, the irony! Omar Bakri fled the UK after spending years preaching hate from his London mosque, and got out just ahead of a British deportation order. The Home Secretary banned him from ever returning to Britain after Bakri left -- for Lebanon. Now that the Hezbollah lunatics he supports started a war they cannot handle, Bakri now demands that Britain allow him to return -- on humanitarian grounds!

In the somewhat purple prose of the British tabloid, The Sun:

  • EXILED preacher of hate Omar Bakri has begged the Royal Navy to rescue him from war-torn Beirut.

  • The Muslim cleric who fled Britain last year, tried to board a ship full of women and children yesterday but was turned away.

  • He also wrote to the British embassy asking to be allowed back on “humanitarian grounds”.

  • In an email to officials, dole scrounger Bakri pleaded: “The current situation in Beirut left me without any choice but to appeal to you to grant me a visit visa to see my children for one month.”

Bakri left his family behind when he took off for Lebanon, and apparently they have not made much of an attempt to join him. They must have strong ties to Britain; Bakri himself spent twenty years in the UK after fleeing Syria in the wake of a coup attempt there. That is one of the reasons why Bakri begged Britain to allow him back; he's still a wanted man in Syria and cannot exit Lebanon through Damascus. Apparently the Assads like him even less than the British.

When he did leave Britain, he made it clear that he would never willingly return to the nest of infidels he had left behind. Just four months ago, he told reporters: “When I left England I bought a one-way ticket out. I never want to see the place again.” Now, apparently, he wants to make that a round trip.

Britain has thus far refused, and an evacuation crew kicked him off a ship in Beirut when he attempted to stow away. Why should they allow him to return? He preached hate and war, praised al-Qaeda, and railed endlessly about the evils of the West and Zionists. Now he finds himself in the middle of the war he actively demanded and pursued, and all of a sudden he wants the Western infidels to rescue him from it.

This could never happen here in the USA. The moonbats would find a way to get him back safely into a mosque where he could resume his preaching of hate and discontent for the USA. They would be saying how it is a "death sentence" to leave him there and that we are bigger than that! So far I have not seen any mention of humanitarian aid for him in the form of a US visa. It would not surprise me.

Philandery is nothing unusual to Democrats, it's even approved!

Breaking from NewsMax.com

Sen. Hillary Clinton Keeps Philanderer's Funds

Hillary Clinton accepted a $13,000 contribution to her campaign war chests from the husband of supermodel Christie Brinkley, whose marriage collapsed amid revelations that he’d cheated on Christie with a teenager.

[When I read the headline, I thought it referred to the philanderer in chief, rapist, sexual preditor, and liar, Der Schlickmeister himself. Maybe she should establish a "Philanderers For Hillary" PAC to accept doantions from this constituency. She knows and understands this group, being intimately involved with one herself.]

Architect Peter Cook, who wed Brinkley in 1996, had a nearly yearlong affair with wannabe singer and former employee Diana Bianchi, now 19, and gave her gifts of money, jewelry and a car. Both Cook and Bianchi have confirmed the affair.

Asked if she would return Cook’s donations, Clinton said: "I’ll have to look into it,” the New York Post reported. But aide Ann Lewis later said: "We do not intend to return his contributions.”

[The world would be shocked if she returned it. Philandery is well within the core of the paradigm of an amoral Democrat. It is seen by them as a badge to be worn proudly, if you are a Democrat. The EX-Senator Gary Hart days seem to be forgotten. What he did back then would get him re-elected nowadays. Ann Coulter has them pegged in her new book, "Godless".]

Carl Levin is starting his 2008 reelection campaign early

From the newsletter of Saul Anuzis...

Senator Levin launches a web page for his re-election two ½ years before he is even up….I think he’s getting a little worried…a little early! Things are changing in Michigan and the Michigan Republicans are getting ready to lead the way!

http://www.carllevin.com

Check out this page:

Carl Levin: The Bird-Dogger

No one would accuse Carl Levin of looking like Hollywood’s version of a U.S. Senator. He’s pudgy, balding and occasionally rumpled, and he constantly wears his glasses at the very tip of his nose.

Levin, 71 and first elected in 1978, says he considers congressional hearings a critical part of his job, spending as much as 20 hours prepping for each one so an evasive witness won’t outwit him. The former civil-rights lawyer is known for forcing embarrassing admissions from Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff and other Bush Administration officials through his precise questioning. “You’ve got to be very blunt and truly listen so you know when the b.s. is flying,” Levin says.

[Except when Democrats are pouring it into the whirling blades... No one slings bullshit like a Democrat! ]

Although admired by many Republicans for his diligence, Levin rarely sides with them. He opposed the Iraq war, and as the top Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee, he has become one of his party’s leading voices in criticizing President Bush’s conduct of the invasion, arguing that the Administration didn’t have enough troops in the early stages and, more recently, hasn’t focused enough on training Iraqi troops. But his carefully researched, thoughtful remarks carry great weight with his colleagues. “Nobody in the Democratic Caucus says anything on national-security issues without talking to Carl Levin,” says a top Democratic Senate staff member.

[Carl is VERY pro-illegal alien. Forget "Rule of Law", Carl is very "Rule of Pander". When an issue of citizen workers versus illegal aliens comes up, the citizens lose every time with Carl as they do with every other hard core leftist Democrat. Carl has morphed over the years from a civil rights lawyer to a hard core socialist ACLU type.]

Michigan Independents miffed at having to declare party affiliation

Thanks and a tip 'o the derby to Saul Anuzis "That's Saul Folks!"

From an editorial at the Flint joUrinal...

My commentary:

Awwww poor pointy headed inane liberal pseudo-intellectuals...

[Flint joUrinal excerpt: Independent (Michigan) voters particularly should be upset over the plan that would make them declare publicly at the polls whether they want a Republican or Democratic ballot.(in the August 8th primary election) This is a step backward for Republicans who for years put the Democrats to shame by allowing all comers in their presidential primary, risking that nonparty members - even Democrats - might produce outcomes not in line with the GOP's base.]

I guess these "independents" do not understand that if they do not want to declare as a Republican or a Democrat in the Auguest 8 Primary Election, maybe they should see what other party best suits them and vote in that party's primary election.

What?

[] Green Party

[] Libertarian Party

[] American Communist Party

[] Etc.

...are not having a primary? Your party picks were made the day after the previous election?

Then why should we allow you to anonymously stack the deck for us? You helped fool everyone into thinking that John McCain was the Michigan GOP choice last time and he is only favored by the Yobs and a few other McCainiac toadies! He is a wacko RINO who shows signs of a seriously unstable personality disorder. He is not the type person we would want to have control of the "Football". When McCain makes that big jowly smile he does radiate a charisma though. Fortunately it has a very short half-life.

Tell ya what... go hold a "Gloom and Doom-fest" somewhere and get the MSM to cover it. Many of you normally vote Democrat anyway. Or better yet, go back in your closets until the day before the general election so you can be as clueless as you normally are. Most independents can not tell you who is running on what ticket unless they acquire a poll piece the day of the election. The general election on November 7th is open and independents can vote any way that blows their hair back as long as it is legal and either absentee or at their registered polling location.

Run, Newt, Run!

Gingrich 2008?

By Rich Lowry

The casual TV viewer has probably noticed two things during the past few days — there’s a war in the Middle East, and Newt Gingrich is commenting on it.

Gingrich has been a ubiquitous analyst on the war — ubiquity being one of the tireless, outsized former House speaker’s favorite qualities. In between appearances in his role as a commentator for the Fox News Channel, Gingrich announced on Meet the Press that we are in the midst of World War III. A few days later, Hezbollah declared that it welcomed World War III, nicely capturing the moment: Simultaneous with its shooting war with Israel, Hezbollah is in a war of words with Newt Gingrich.

[The democrats would love to try to smear Newt, but their darling is far worse than anything that Newt did. I hope that Newt does decide to run in 2008.]

Mike Hammer creator Mickey Spillane dies at age 88

Mike Hammer creator Mickey Spillane dies at age 88

By BRUCE SMITH, Associated Press Writer

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Mickey Spillane, the macho mystery writer who wowed millions of readers with the shoot-'em-up sex and violence of gumshoe Mike Hammer, died Monday. He was 88.

Spillane's death was confirmed by Brad Stephens of Goldfinch Funeral Home in his hometown of Murrells Inlet. Details about his death were not immediately available.

After starting out in comic books Spillane wrote his first Mike Hammer novel, "I, the Jury," in 1946. Twelve more followed, with sales topping 100 million. Notable titles included "The Killing Man," "The Girl Hunters" and "One Lonely Night."

Many of these books were made into movies, including the classic film noir "Kiss Me, Deadly" and "The Girl Hunters," in which Spillane himself starred. Hammer stories were also featured on television in the series "Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer" and in made-for-TV movies. In the 1980s, Spillane appeared in a string of Miller Lite beer commercials.

I am reading one of his Mike Hammer novels, BLACK ALLEY, and it is a shocker to me to hear this news. I have read all the Mike Hammer novels over the years.

Good bye, Mickey!

A letter from Baghdad about espionage, subversion, and sedition at NYT

Source Permalink: Powerline Blog
http://powerlineblog.com/archives/014515.php

Lt. Tom Cotton writes this morning from Baghdad with a word for the New York Times:

Dear Messrs. Keller, Lichtblau & Risen:

Congratulations on disclosing our government's highly classified anti-terrorist-financing program (June 23). I apologize for not writing sooner. But I am a lieutenant in the United States Army and I spent the last four days patrolling one of the more dangerous areas in Iraq. (Alas, operational security and common sense prevent me from even revealing this unclassified location in a private medium like email.)

Unfortunately, as I supervised my soldiers late one night, I heard a booming explosion several miles away. I learned a few hours later that a powerful roadside bomb killed one soldier and severely injured another from my 130-man company. I deeply hope that we can find and kill or capture the terrorists responsible for that bomb. But, of course, these terrorists do not spring from the soil like Plato's guardians. No, they require financing to obtain mortars and artillery shells, priming explosives, wiring and circuitry, not to mention for training and payments to locals willing to emplace bombs in exchange for a few months' salary. As your story states, the program was legal, briefed to Congress, supported in the government and financial industry, and very successful.

Not anymore. You may think you have done a public service, but you have gravely endangered the lives of my soldiers and all other soldiers and innocent Iraqis here. Next time I hear that familiar explosion -- or next time I feel it -- I will wonder whether we could have stopped that bomb had you not instructed terrorists how to evade our financial surveillance.

And, by the way, having graduated from Harvard Law and practiced with a federal appellate judge and two Washington law firms before becoming an infantry officer, I am well-versed in the espionage laws relevant to this story and others -- laws you have plainly violated. I hope that my colleagues at the Department of Justice match the courage of my soldiers here and prosecute you and your newspaper to the fullest extent of the law. By the time we return home, maybe you will be in your rightful place: not at the Pulitzer announcements, but behind bars.

Very truly yours,

Tom Cotton

Baghdad, Iraq

Bush's North American Union to trump the Supreme Court

This is some scary shitstuff Maynard! You'd better take your blood pressure medicine before proceeding on down the page!

From Human Events Online

North American Union Would Trump U.S. Supreme Court

The Bush Administration is pushing to create a North American Union out of the work on-going in the Department of Commerce under the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America in the NAFTA office headed by Geri Word. A key part of the plan is to expand the NAFTA tribunals into a North American Union court system that would have supremacy over all U.S. law, even over the U.S. Supreme Court, in any matter related to the trilateral political and economic integration of the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Bush Administration Quietly Plans NAFTA Super Highway

by Jerome R. Corsi
Posted Jun 12, 2006

Quietly but systematically, the Bush Administration is advancing the plan to build a huge NAFTA Super Highway, four football-fields-wide, through the heart of the U.S. along Interstate 35, from the Mexican border at Laredo, Tex., to the Canadian border north of Duluth, Minn.

Once complete, the new road will allow containers from the Far East to enter the United States through the Mexican port of Lazaro Cardenas, bypassing the Longshoreman's Union in the process. The Mexican trucks, without the involvement of the Teamsters Union, will drive on what will be the nation's most modern highway straight into the heart of America. The Mexican trucks will cross border in FAST lanes, checked only electronically by the new "SENTRI" system. The first customs stop will be a Mexican customs office in Kansas City, their new Smart Port complex, a facility being built for Mexico at a cost of $3 million to the U.S. taxpayers in Kansas City.
>
> As incredible as this plan may seem to some readers, the first Trans-Texas Corridor segment of the NAFTA Super Highway is ready to begin construction next year. Various U.S. government agencies, dozens of state agencies, and scores of private NGOs (non-governmental organizations) have been working behind the scenes to create the NAFTA Super Highway, despite the lack of comment on the plan by President Bush. The American public is largely asleep to this key piece of the coming "North American Union" that government planners in the new trilateral region of United States, Canada and Mexico are about to drive into reality.
>
> Just examine the following websites to get a feel for the magnitude of NAFTA Super Highway planning that has been going on without any new congressional legislation directly authorizing the construction of the planned international corridor through the center of the country.

  • NASCO, the North America SuperCorridor Coalition Inc., is a "non-profit organization dedicated to developing the world" first international, integrated and secure, multi-modal transportation system along the International Mid-Continent Trade and Transportation Corridor to improve both the trade competitiveness and quality of life in North America.&rdquo Where does that sentence say anything about the USA? Still, NASCO has received $2.5 million in earmarks from the U.S. Department of Transportation to plan the NAFTA Super Highway as a 10-lane limited-access road (five lanes in each direction) plus passenger and freight rail lines running alongside pipelines laid for oil and natural gas. One glance at the map of the NAFTA Super Highway on the front page of the NASCO website will make clear that the design is to connect Mexico, Canada, and the U.S. into one transportation system.
    >
    >
  • Kansas City SmartPort Inc. is an "investor based organization supported by the public and private sector&rdquo to create the key hub on the NAFTA Super Highway. At the Kansas City SmartPort, the containers from the Far East can be transferred to trucks going east and west, dramatically reducing the ground transportation time dropping the containers off in Los Angeles or Long Beach involves for most of the country. A brochure on the SmartPort website describes the plan in glowing terms: "For those who live in Kansas City, the idea of receiving containers nonstop from the Far East by way of Mexico may sound unlikely, but later this month that seemingly far-fetched notion will become a reality."
    >
    >
  • The U.S. government has housed within the Department of Commerce (DOC) an "SPP office" that is dedicated to organizing the many working groups laboring within the executive branches of the U.S., Mexico and Canada to create the regulatory reality for the Security and Prosperity Partnership. The SPP agreement was signed by Bush, President Vicente Fox, and then-Prime Minister Paul Martin in Waco, Tex., on March 23, 2005. According to the DOC website, a U.S.-Mexico Joint Working Committee on Transportation Planning has finalized a plan such that "(m)ethods for detecting bottlenecks on the U.S.-Mexico border will be developed and low cost/high impact projects identified in bottleneck studies will be constructed or implemented." The report notes that new SENTRI travel lanes on the Mexican border will be constructed this year. The border at Laredo should be reduced to an electronic speed bump for the Mexican trucks containing goods from the Far East to enter the U.S. on their way to the Kansas City SmartPort.
    >
    >
  • The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is overseeing the Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC) as the first leg of the NAFTA Super Highway. A 4,000-page environmental impact statement has already been completed and public hearings are scheduled for five weeks, beginning next month, in July 2006. The billions involved will be provided by a foreign company, Cintra Concessions de Infraestructuras de Transporte, S.A. of Spain. As a consequence, the TTC will be privately operated, leased to the Cintra consortium to be operated as a toll-road.

The details of the NAFTA Super Highway are hidden in plan view. Still, Bush has not given speeches to bring the NAFTA Super Highway plans to the full attention of the American public. Missing in the move toward creating a North American Union is the robust public debate that preceded the decision to form the European Union. All this may be for calculated political reasons on the part of the Bush Administration.
>
> A good reason Bush does not want to secure the border with Mexico may be that the administration is trying to create express lanes for Mexican trucks to bring containers with cheap Far East goods into the heart of the U.S., all without the involvement of any U.S. union workers on the docks or in the trucks.

Another one bites the dust

Al-Zarqawi finally got his just deserts... along with 7 of his toadies! Unfortunately his US supporters could not be at his side at the very end when the 500 pounders arrived by air mail, special delivery. He was so fond of loud noises that he just had to love this.

REST IN PIECES

Now as a final act, his innards should be pureed with ground pork and poured back into the skin then slow roasted on a spit, wrapped in bacon with an apple in his mouth. He will undoubtedly have an eternity to roast with all the other terrorists.

I heard one of the reporters of the terrorist news network asking if his remains were going to be sent back to Jordan... In My Humble Opinion: No they should be ground up and used as Pig Feed. This should be the fate of all recovered remains of terrorists. He should get 72 sow piglets to satisfy his urges.

The White House and Senate are "Stuck on Stupid"

It's Time for Bush to Listen to His Base

by Michael Reagan - Human Events Online

Posted May 15, 2006

A week before he died I asked Lyn Nofziger if the White House was arrogant or just plain stupid.

“Both,” he said.

Nofziger was one of the nation’s most astute political analysts and a White House aide my father Ronald Reagan greatly admired. If you need proof that Lyn knew what he was talking about, you need only consider the White House policies on illegal immigration, which are both incredibly stupid and incredibly arrogant.

Aside from the Iraq war, no issue threatens Republican control of Capitol Hill more than the problem of illegal immigration. The overwhelming majority of Americans are outraged over the problem of our porous borders. People are demanding that the borders be sealed tight against the thousands of illegals violating them.

If the president and the Republicans in the House and Senate don’t act to enforce our current immigration laws and vastly increase border security you’ll have to hire a private detective to find any Republicans on Capitol Hill next year.

"Will they win? I think that's still up to the Republicans," Newt Gingrich told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review the other day.

GOP is not the Law-and-Order Party - Letter to Bush

GOP Is Not Law-and-Order Party On Immigration, Democrats Say

By Dan Balz - Washington Post

Sunday, May 14, 2006; Page A05

With President Bush scheduled for a prime-time address on immigration tomorrow, Democrats believe it's time to turn tables on the president and argue that the Republicans are not the party of law and order when it comes to illegal immigrants......

===snip===

Out here in flyover country the grassroots Republicans are saying the same thing about legislators in DC. They are a distinctly different culture. There seems to be no shared political DNA whatsoever. US Sentors that were elected as Republicans have mutated into Republicrats. You look like a rose but smell like skunk cabbage. Bush Administration Snubs Taiwan

Bush Administration Snubs Taiwan

(CNSNews.com) - Taiwanese President Chen Shui-bian wanted to stop in San Francisco and New York on his way to South America, but the Bush administration has nixed the idea -- suggesting that Chen stop in Alaska instead. Chen refused the "offer," the BBC reported. Chen accused the U.S. government of pandering to China, which considers Taiwan part of its territory.

[No surprizes here! The lame duck Bush administration is starting to display all sorts of behaviors that would be considered odd from a conservative. In this case, we see pandering as a normal day to day mode. That is, pandering to everyone but the CITIZENS! These panderers all claim to absolutely adore the rule of law. Bush is eagerly looking for the panderers in the senate to send out th elong awaited "guest worker/amnesty" bill so it can be quickly signed into law before anyone gets a chance to study it. They think the rule of law has nothing to do with this because they intend to change the law to suit the illegal aliens.]

Gas Prices got ya down?

Thanks and a tip of the derby to Saul Anuzis for the link to this Editorial at Detroit News

Tuesday, April 25, 2006

Editorial: Stop the panic over higher gasoline prices

Governor chooses empty gestures over helping motorists

Gov. Jennifer Granholm can't have it both ways -- she complains about windfall profits on gasoline but gladly accepts the windfall sales taxes the state is getting from Michigan motorists.

She and other lawmakers should stop the panicky election-year sloganeering.

Fuel prices rise and fall according to supply and demand. There's not a shred of evidence that price increases reflect anything other than that age-old dynamic. [continue]

[ed: They always ignore how EVERY station increases prices with the precision of a syncronized water ballet swim team, usually on Thursday evening. The prices go up together, but randomly drop at seperate rates. The writer has one thing correct... the government has a larger portion of the cost of a gallon of gasoline than they let you know about. It is currently somewhere in the range of $1.50+ per gallon in federal and state taxes, fees, surcharges, and any other label to soak a few more pennies out of you here in Michigan. Another thing that they do not let you know about... the fuel companies DO have a monopoly. If you were to begin making your own ethanol or methanol and start using it as motor fuel, it would be a violation of the law because the government is not getting any taxes or surcharges from your fuel. This monopoly is why the oil companies do not complain much about the taxes. They know that we are in thrall to them and must pay whatever usurious charges they set or not go anywhere.]

Breakthrough for GR, West State [GOOD NEWS for a change!]

[Thanks and a hat tip to Saul Anuzis "That's Saul Folks!" for the link to this item.]

from mlive.com and Grand Rapids Press

[This is a great beginning, but what we need is a rail transit system similar to what is used in Illinois and Wisconsin. There are passenger trains running from Milwaukee and suburbs south to Chicago with intermediate stops. A system like this from Big Rapids to Grand Rapids with stops in the various small burgs (Howard City, Sand Lake, Cedar Springs, Rockford) could work very well and would cut down a lot of auto traffic once the line is established. It would require some local shuttle services at each end of the line but that is just details.]

Breakthrough for GR, West State

Sunday, April 23, 2006

The transportation deal reached in Lansing on Thursday re-starts two projects that West Michigan sorely needs: completion of the U.S. 131 freeway to the south and development of a Grand Rapids rapid-transit system.

The task now is to keep the two on track and moving. Although these are long-term improvements, with far to go on each, there must be a sense of urgency about them.

The biggest regional gain is Gov. Jennifer Granholm's reversal of her earlier shelving of plans to complete the U.S. 131 freeway to the Indiana border. U.S. 131 is West Michigan's most important north-south artery, running from north of Cadillac to south of Kalamazoo and connecting the major industrial hubs. But south of Kalamazoo, just north of the village of Schoolcraft, U.S. 131 drops from a freeway to a 24-mile-long rural road, complete with local traffic, stop lights, 90-degree turns and two busy rail crossings -- one of them halting cars and trucks 20 to 35 times a day.

or many years, shippers and business owners in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and elsewhere in West Michigan have been appealing for a remedy. Douglas Rothwell, a former state economic development director, said the lack of a U.S. 131 freeway link to the Indiana Turnpike "definitely has hurt Grand Rapids." Freight traffic must find other, indirect freeway routes south. In an increasingly time-oriented manufacturing climate, the situation is sure to become a yet larger hindrance in recruiting employers to Grand Rapids and the region.

The "no build" designation that was applied to the U.S. 131 project last fall by the Granholm administration thus was a door slammed, a major regional economic setback. The new agreement between the governor and legislative leaders -- mainly Senate Majority Leader Kenneth Sikkema, R-Wyoming, and House Speaker Craig DeRoche, R-Novi -- puts U.S. 131 back in the Department of Transportation's Five-Year Plan and commits $31 million now to

road design and right-of-way acquisition. West Michigan lawmakers -- state and federal -- along with Ms. Granholm need to continue to push and not let this important economic development project again fall into the political weeds.

The other major gain last week isn't just for Grand Rapids rapid transit but for the health of the surrounding area. Intelligent transportation planning can't be limited to automobiles. Light rail nationwide has been a key to the health of metro areas, encouraging living in cities and enabling people to easily move in and around them.

The Grand Rapids project -- whether light rail or street car or similar service -- is in its early stages. U.S. Rep. Vernon Ehlers, R-Grand Rapids, obtained a $14.4 million federal grant for planning. To be eligible for the money, all Grand Rapids had to do was get a small change in state law to make possible a long-term, voter-approved local millage. Ms. Granholm in December vetoed legislation to provide that opening because nothing similar was provided for the Detroit area. A new Grand Rapids bill -- sponsored by Rep. Jerry O. Kooiman, R-Grand Rapids -- ought to go ahead now. Included will be wording to assist Southeast Michigan if ever that region comes up with its own rapid-transit effort.

The new agreement also gives Ms. Granholm a go-ahead to pump $400 million of federal and state funds into county and city roads over the next two years. Lawmakers very rightly insisted, and got, controls to assure equitable statewide distribution of the projects.

This was a bipartisan intersection of interests. Ms. Granholm gave ground; so did the Legislature's Republican leaders. The combination will move Michigan ahead. West Michigan will share in that progress, while needing much more of it.

McCain Denies Rightward Shift

[from NewsMax.com]

McCain Denies Rightward Shift

Sen. John McCain is on a national tour to promote his new book "Character Is Destiny" - and he's been reassuring supporters that he hasn't taken a rightward tilt to appeal to conservatives in his Republican Party.

[Now why would McCain (RINO-Az) want to do a stupid thing like appeal to conservatives. Appealing to conservatives is the only way this turkey could ever get elected to a national office outside of Arizona. At this time he will have to use black magic to sway any THINKING Republican who is of a conservative belief. He has crapped on too many of us to get our support now. RINO McCain has tried the ploy of stating that he is a "conservative" from some early model of the label from 100 to 150 years ago. It doesn't wash, John. Actually this jackwad is quietly doing just what he says he isnt doing. He has been looking for conservatives who might consider thinking of the remote possibility of maybe looking into what McCain's message of the moment is before another personality takes over. ]

Hundreds of people turned up at a recent book signing at a Borders store in Palm Beach, Fla., some to offer encouragement - and others to protest his appearance.

[Hundreds of supporters chartered buses to make a good appearance for RINO McCain. No statement has been released by his camp as to the lease cost of the cheering section buses, or the cost of the books donated to the cheering section to make it look like he was actually selling books. Afterwards they stuck around to collect their appearance pay for coming to his book signing.]

"I haven't changed, and I won't change," McCain told NewsMax correspondent Susan Feinberg and other reporters at the signing.

[WE KNOW THIS, JOHN! You are now and always will be a closet socialist and a Democat at heart. Your close order drills with the Democrats show where your true loyalties are aligned. This is precisely why you will never be our candidate for the REPUBLICAN Party in 2008! Go try the Libertarians, John. They actually sound like you right now.]

He pointed to his support of legislation for campaign finance reform, a ban on prisoner torture, and his efforts to reduce global warming. "These positions are not popular among the most conservative wing of my party," he said.

[Once again you are correct, John. When you shit on your party, do not come back with a roll of toilet paper and ask if you can help clean up after yourself. You are making yourself unwelcome in the Republican Party, John!]

The Arizona senator was also passionate about his immigration plan, which most in his party oppose. He has proposed legislation to let 12 million illegal immigrants in America pay fines and back taxes, learn English, and get in line for citizenship.

[The end of the line forms south of the border. Send your sycophants, suck-ups, toadies, and other hangers-on back to Mexico to await their turn at legal immigration and eventually citizenship. Your plan for a "fine" is a joke. Immediately after they are legalized, they then become eligible for food stamps and other welfare goodies worth ten times as much. Back taxes? How the hell are you going to compute how much they owe? It can not be done. Learn english??? You are a real card, John! As for them getting in line, you already have a plan to move them to the head of the line so lets cut the bullshit.]

"There is no one who believes that the status quo, with broken borders and millions of people living in this country illegally, is acceptable," he said.

[...except for opportunists of the RINO stripe, like John McCain!]

Suspicions of the "maverick" Republican's rightward shift were fueled when he voted to extend some of the very same Bush tax cuts that he had opposed. He also recently reconciled with Jerry Falwell, who he once called an "agent of intolerance," and agreed to address the spring 2006 graduating class at Falwell's Liberty University.

[No John! We have no suspicions or doubts of what you are. You constructed, and have since reinforced the image.]

"Reverend Falwell came to my office and said he wanted to put our differences behind us," McCain said. [Actually it was the other way around!]

"I believe that in life and politics, you have to put things behind you."

[McCain realized that he had screwed himself royally with no hopes by going after Falwell. He at least tried to put a portion of the bridge back together that he had previously nuked. No one on the religious right is fooled by McCain. He is still Johnny One Note with his leftist agenda.]

McCain said he wrote "Character Is Destiny," which he co-authored with Mark Salter, to inspire young people and provide them with role models. The book contains 34 biographies of heroes whose lives embody qualities ranging from honesty and loyalty to compassion and humility.

When asked who in America today exemplifies the virtues commended in his book, McCain said: "Giuliani exemplifies it, certainly after 9/11. I admire Bill Gates for his efforts to combat AIDS in Africa. I admire the people in Louisiana and Mississippi who are helping victims of the hurricanes, and the American men and women fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan."

He sidestepped a question about how Hillary Clinton rated on these virtues. "I don't know her well," he said, adding that she "represents the Democrats quite well."

[Actually, so do you, John! Your wooing of left of center voters exposes your Democrat leanings and longings very well.]

About a dozen people lined the sidewalk outside Borders to protest McCain's position on immigration and his upcoming appearance at Liberty University.

But the Senator received a hero's welcome from most in the crowd.

[In other words, there were 7 supporters and 5 protesters!]

Many of the book buyers asked McCain if he was going to run for president. He joked: "I don't think that Borders is the best place to make that announcement."

[It would be for you, John. Better still, go to where your "south of the border" constituency can hear you and announce it there.]

Dems got a spanking on voter ID lawsuit

Thanks and a hat tip to Saul Anuzis "That's Saul Folks!"

Dems got a spanking on voter ID lawsuit

IndyStar.com

For a 126-page legal document, U.S. District Judge Sarah Evans Barker's recent ruling to uphold Indiana's new voter ID law is downright entertaining.

The ruling has it all -- outrage, humor, put-downs.

Unfortunately for Indiana Democratic Party officials, most of it is aimed at them.

The Democrats and their fellow plaintiffs didn't just lose their lawsuit challenging the voter ID law. They took a legal spanking.

The spanking begins on Page 2, where Barker points out that the lawsuit "is the result of a partisan legislative dispute," but that Democrats "failed to adapt their arguments to the legal arena."

She says their arguments are based "on little more than their own personal and political preferences."

It gets better.

Deeper in the ruling, Barker mocks Democrats for their "apocalyptic assertions of wholesale voter disenfranchisement." She scolds the party for making such allegations while not producing "a single piece of evidence of any identifiable registered voter who would be prevented from voting."

"In contrast to any reliable, specific evidence," Barker wrote, "plaintiffs assert that they know of people, or know of people who know of people, who claim they will not be able to vote."

For the record, that sentence as much as any other in the ruling makes clear the disdain Barker has for the lawsuit.

Even so, Barker continues, criticizing Democrats and the other plaintiffs for sins such as "dramatic overstatement," "sweeping political arguments" and a "feeble effort."

My favorite part of the ruling comes on Page 96, where Barker compares the Democrats' argument to a "wet Kleenex prank," in which "a soggy wet tissue mass is thrown against the dorm wall to see if it will stick."

I'm not a legal scholar, but I'm pretty sure a judge has never before called a lawsuit a "a soggy wet tissue mass."

Barker, though, seemed most bothered by the suggestion by Democrats that nearly a million registered voters could lack the type of ID the new law requires, such as a driver's license.

She calls the claim "utterly incredible" and said she lacked "the time and space to discuss the numerous flaws" in it. If you accept the math, she writes sarcastically, the combined number of voters with and without licenses "represents an incredible 123 percent of Indiana's entire voting-age population."

Barker, who was appointed to the bench by Republican President Ronald Reagan in 1984, smacked Democrats for "this bonanza of hitherto unaccounted- for individuals." With all those people, she said, finding one who would be hurt by the law should have been easy.

Democrats, not surprisingly, are fighting back. National Chairman Howard Dean says Barker's ruling will hurt many potential voters.

"She will go down in history as one of the largest disenfranchisers in our state's history," state party Chairman Dan Parker said.

Is Barker a disenfranchiser? I don't know. But she sure can write an entertaining legal opinion.

Matthew Tully's column runs on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Reach him at (317) 444-6033 or via e-mail at matthew.tully@indystar.com

[Thank you Matt... this was very entertaining and informative! To Der Fuhrer Dean, the only disenfranchisement is that Democrat dogs, parakeets, residents of non-existant addresses, and the deceased that will not be able to produce a valid ID. If this spreads to all 50 states it could be a little more difficult for Democrats to produce ballots on demand. Motor-Voter is not what it used to be. Time for Democrats to start lobbying for punch cards to produce hanging chads again. Maybe they can come up with tractor trailer loads of absentee ballots. All other types of fraudlulent ballots are being closed off. I was being a little facetious about the paper ballots... guess what? Here is a lefty blogger calling for just that: The blog is called "Who Hijacked Our Country". After all the Democrat vote fraud that has been exposed, dual registrations between New York and Florida - voting local down south and absentee to New York... those Democrat Snowbirds. The dimpled chad fraud scheme... there was no way to make a dimpled chad without placing several paper ballots in the voting machine at the same time. Other wise they just punched out. In Detroit they register dogs and residents of vacant lots as Democrat voters.]

Message from John O'Neill - Swift Boat Veteran

As you know, I helped start the 'Swift Boat Veterans for Truth' during the 2004 election for one reason...

...I believed the American people should know the truth about John Kerry. There was no way I was going sit idly by as John Kerry tried to become our "Commander-in-Chief," while concealing his actual record. Today I agreed to assist Lt Col Greg Parke, USAF (Retired) in his mission to prevent socialist candidate Bernie Sanders from entering the U.S. Senate.

Sanders is as radical as they come.

In fact, he's so far to the Left that he calls himself an "independent" because he thinks Democrats are "too conservative." His record in the House of Representative - particularly on defense matters - is disgraceful.

• He introduced four separate amendments to slash crucial defense and intelligence spending even deeper than Bill Clinton ever proposed.

• He's consistently fought President Bush on issues of national security - most specifically he voted against the use of force to oust Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein

• And even though we are in the middle of a global war on terror, Bernie Sanders proudly says he's "leading the charge against the Bush Administration."

And that's just the national security issues.

Sanders is even worse on social and budget issues.

He's constantly voting to undermine America's traditional values and, to raise your taxes, and to spend millions on wasteful government programs.

The Republican candidate running against Sanders is Lt. Col. Greg Parke, USAF (Ret.).

Greg is a good friend of mine, and he will make an excellent U.S. Senator. Let me tell you a little about him.

Greg loyally and bravely served our country through his 22 years in the United States Air Force as a front-line fighter pilot, flying the F-16 Fighting Falcon.

What's more, Greg spent four years serving as a commander and diplomat in the Middle East -- giving him valuable firsthand knowledge on how to win the War on Terror; Like you and I, he believes:

• America should be strong, safe, and secure!

• America's traditional values should be upheld!

• Taxes should be lower!

• Government should be smaller and more efficient!

In this vital battle to stop Bernie Sanders, Greg has my strongest possible endorsement;

And he needs to have your support as well.

Because Bernie Sanders is treated like a "hero" by liberal Hollywood elites and just about every left-wing radical special interest group they are all pouring money into his campaign.

In fact, the radical far left group Moveon.org raised more than $100,000 for Sanders in just one weekend.

This liberal support has given Sanders a massive campaign war chest and a distinct advantage in this race.

That's why Greg needs your immediate help today. We must act now to level the playing field!

My friend, if he's going to beat Sanders, Greg must have the support of conservatives from coast to coast.

And while every contribution matters, Greg's also going to need some really generous individuals who care about the future of our country to come forward with contributions of $500, $1,000, or $2,000.

Because by supporting Greg you have the chance to have a huge impact on the future of America.

The stone cold reality is this: If we can't raise Greg enough money Bernie Sanders is going to win this race and take a seat in the United States Senate.

We and my friends were blessed to have the support of thousands of patriotic Americans like you.

Now Greg desperately needs your help today.

He's got 100% of my support.

I hope he can count on you, too.

Sincerely, John O'Neill - Swift Boat Veteran

Liberals Would Let Dogs Vote

http://www.humaneventsonline.com/article.php?id=13736

How does a dog vote?

It's a question to ponder. Dogs do end up on voter lists from time to time -- one was registered in St. Louis in 2000 -- and I worry that today's polling places are not dog-friendly. Can a dog operate a touch screen election machine? Are owners permitted into the voting booth to help their pets?

Seriously. Nowadays dogs, the deceased, convicted felons, illegal immigrants and imaginary people are registered to vote. This shouldn't be. But to hear some liberal groups, any rules and restrictions on the franchise are intolerable. [more]

Mexican flags draw dissent

Yvonne Wingett and Daniel González

The Arizona Republic

Paul Cattelino thinks of himself as a liberal. He votes independent, supports gay marriage and is anti-war.

His great-grandparents immigrated to the United States from Italy in 1917, and he has always empathized with Mexican immigrants. Then, last week on TV, the central Phoenix retail manager watched in amazement images of undocumented immigrants and their supporters at huge pro-immigrant rallies in Phoenix and across the country "flying the Mexican flag on American soil."

[He is not the only one... I was stunned and became really angry. If they want to display national pride, get the f__k out of my country and go back to Mexico. There, you can wave your flag to your hearts content! This is the USA and you are not a citizen here!]

If the marchers' goal was allowing undocumented immigrants to become Americans, why wave Mexican flags?

"It's representing our culture, our heritage, where we are from," said Maria Barrera.

[It's representing where you should return to. This is the USA. I am of Irish heritage but I don't go around waving the flag of Ireland, and I especially do not get "In your face" by demonstrating about it. My ancestors immigrated here LEGALLY! I suggest that you do the same or expect to be referred to as a criminal.]

"Their whole lives, they've grown up in this country without an identity," said Rep. David Lujan, D-Phoenix, also a Phoenix Union High School District governing board member. "They've grown up and been called illegals. They have no sense of belonging. And so when they go to these rallies, they fly the Mexican flag as a means of expressing their pride and their heritage."

[If they ARE illegal aliens and they want an identity as Mexicans, GO HOME TO MEXICO! If you are then ready to come back and become US citizens LEGALLY, Welcome to the USA! You will be able to enjoy all the benefits of citizenship once you complete the requirements. If you insist on being an illegal alien and want me to accept you as an equal, FORGET IT. You are an ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINAL and should be deported.]

Another US Company (Bell Labs) goes to a foreign owner

France's Alcatel to Buy Lucent for $13.4B

By Sudip Kar-Gupta, Reuters and Jessica Hall, Reuters

April 2, 2006

PARIS/PHILADELPHIA (Reuters)—French communications-equipment maker Alcatel said on Sunday it would buy smaller U.S. rival Lucent Technologies Inc. for $13.4 billion to gain market heft and broaden its product mix.

Together, the companies would have total revenue of $25 billion, roughly matching current industry leader Cisco Systems Inc. They would also wield greater clout to negotiate prices with customers and enjoy a broader research and development base.

"Competition is increasing and size and scale really matter," Lucent Chief Executive Patricia Russo told analysts and reporters on a conference call, adding that the prospect of joining the companies' research and development muscle helped to cinch the deal. [more]

The Mexican Solution

Decision Brief No. 06-D 18 2006-04-03

The Center for Security Policy

(Washington, D.C.): The Congress has received lots of free advice lately from Mexican government officials and illegal aliens waving Mexico's flag in mass demonstrations coast-to-coast. Most of it takes the form of bitter complaints about our actual or prospective treatment of immigrants from that country who have gotten into this one illegally - or who aspire to do so.

If you think these critics are mad about U.S. immigration policy now, imagine how upset they would be if we adopted an approach far more radical than the bill they rail against which was adopted last year by the House of Representatives - namely, the way Mexico treats illegal aliens.

In fact, as a just-published paper by the Center for Security Policy's J. Michael Waller points out, under a constitution first adopted in 1917 and subsequently amended, Mexico deals harshly not only with illegal immigrants. It treats even legal immigrants, naturalized citizens and foreign investors in ways that would, by the standards of those who carp about U.S. immigration policy, have to be called "racist" and "xenophobic."

Mexico's Glass House

For example, according to an official translation published by the Organization of American States, the Mexican constitution includes the following restrictions:

  • Pursuant to Article 33, "Foreigners may not in any way participate in the political affairs of the country." This ban applies, among other things, to participation in demonstrations and the expression of opinions in public about domestic politics like those much in evidence in Los Angeles, New York and elsewhere in recent days.
  • Equal employment rights are denied to immigrants, even legal ones. Article 32: "Mexicans shall have priority over foreigners under equality of circumstances for all classes of concessions and for all employment, positions, or commissions of the Government in which the status of citizenship is not indispensable."
  • Jobs for which Mexican citizenship is considered "indispensable" include, pursuant to Article 32, bans on foreigners, immigrants, and even naturalized citizens of Mexico serving as military officers, Mexican-flagged ship and airline crew, and chiefs of seaports and airports.
  • Article 55 denies immigrants the right to become federal lawmakers. A Mexican congressman or senator must be "a Mexican citizen by birth." Article 91 further stipulates that immigrants may never aspire to become cabinet officers as they are required to be Mexican by birth. Article 95 says the same about Supreme Court justices.

In accordance with Article 130, immigrants - even legal ones - may not become members of the clergy, either.

  • Foreigners, to say nothing of illegal immigrants, are denied fundamental property rights. For example, Article 27 states, "Only Mexicans by birth or naturalization and Mexican companies have the right to acquire ownership of lands, waters, and their appurtenances, or to obtain concessions for the exploitation of mines or of waters."
  • Article 11 guarantees federal protection against "undesirable aliens resident in the country." What is more, private individuals are authorized to make citizen's arrests. Article 16 states, "In cases of flagrante delicto, any person may arrest the offender and his accomplices, turning them over without delay to the nearest authorities." In other words, Mexico grants its citizens the right to arrest illegal aliens and hand them over to police for prosecution. Imagine the Minutemen exercising such a right!
  • The Mexican constitution states that foreigners - not just illegal immigrants - may be expelled for any reason and without due process. According to Article 33, "the Federal Executive shall have the exclusive power to compel any foreigner whose remaining he may deem inexpedient to abandon the national territory immediately and without the necessity of previous legal action."

The Bottom Line

As the immigration debate in the Senate moves into a decisive phase this week, legislators who believe America's southern border must be secured, the Nation's existing immigration laws enforced and illegal aliens not rewarded with permanent residency and a direct path to citizenship are being sharply criticized and, in some cases, defamed as bigots and xenophobes. Yet, even their maximalist positions generally pale in comparison with the treatment authorized by the Mexican constitution.

So the next time such legislators - and the majority of Americans for whom they speak - are assaulted by Mexican officials, undocumented aliens waving Mexican flags in mass demonstrations here in the United States, clergy and self-described humanitarians, businessmen and other advocates of illegal immigration ask them this: Would they favor having the U.S. impose the same restrictions on immigrants - legal and illegal - that Mexico imposes on their counterparts there?

Nothing of the kind is in the cards, of course. Nor should it be. Legal immigration and the opportunity for foreign investors and other nationals legitimately to contribute to this country are not only one of its hallmarks; they are among the reasons for its greatness.

Still, we should not allow the hypocrisy of others' treatment of undocumented aliens in their countries to induce us to refrain from taking effective steps to prevent further illegal immigration: by building a fence along our southern border; by enforcing immigration laws in the workplace and elsewhere; and by discouraging more such violations - with potentially grave national security implications - by dealing effectively with those who have already broken those laws by coming here without permission.

This was taken verbatim from the web site. Look at what Mexico does to immigrants and then look at what they are preaching to us. We need to adopt a Mexican view as to OUR immigration laws, at least where it regards Mexicans.

Republicans Tweak Immigration Alternative - AP

WASHINGTON - Conservative Republicans tweaked their alternative to a bipartisan guest worker proposal for illegal immigrants Wednesday as Democrats pressed for a vote that would put most of those in the U.S. illegally on a path to citizenship. President Bush urged swift action. The latest counterproposal to a bill by Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., would base the chance of citizenship for the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. largely on whether or not they were here before a cutoff date. That date has not yet been determined.

Just how the hell are you going to determine their arrival date? Check the guest register at the water barrels in the desert? Have your agents that are going to do the background checks in Mexico also inquire as to the departure date of the "future citizen and voter" in question?

This is getting disgusting! I was reading over at the DNC blog and a large number of Democrats are really ticked off with this attitude that is mirrored from the Democrat leadership. On this issue, there is not a nickels worth of difference between the Democrat and Republican leadership. I think that both are so deep into the pockets of Big Business to keep cheap Mexican labor that they are willing to risk a full revolt of the working CITIZENS of this country.

Kennedy sealed off his chances of ever getting to be president years ago when he took his girl friend swimming in his Oldsmobile off Chappaquidic bridge. This issue with the help of Kennedy, may be the one that puts the big brown shit stain on McCain. He has such a deeply vested interest in legalizing an estimated 11 million law breakers that he can't make any career path changes now. McCain is placing a stigmata on himself.

Holy "Illegal Immigrants" Batman!!! Take a look at this...

Republicans are not the only ones in full revolt over "Guest Workers" and "jobs no citizen will do".

Take a look at the DNC blog replies about this...

Here is a sample of the screams from Democrats...

This party is out of touch with the vast majority of the middle class on this issue. I do not understand how the Democrats can criticize the Rescumlicans for waging war on the middle class from above by cutting benefits and shifting the tax burden in relative terms from the rich and then turn around an embrace a program that wages war on the middle class from below by savaging wages by embracing the importation of cheap labor. This is yet another indication of the emerging dictatorship of capital.

The truth is both parties are water carriers for Corporate America.

As a life-long Democrat and former county chairman I am leaving the party and will vote for third party candidates until this party remembers it's New Deal roots.

Since when has it become liberal to savage the middle class by embracing cheap foriegn labor. And how is this different than exporting jobs overseas.

And please, no more nonsense about how these people are taking jobs no American will do. I have seen them working as masons, stone masons, carpenters, roofers, concrete workers, drywall and painters. Skilled labor that used to pay a living wage. This is straight nonsense produced by conservative stink tanks and it pains me to see Democratic leaders parroting this nonesense.

I and my friends and even my enemies are against a guest worker program. We need to improve border security. As for the ILLEGALS paying taxes where??. They are illegal the only taxes they pay would be sales tax. They certainly don't pay income tax. However, they certainly benefit from food stamps, free medical care etc. I don;t have free medical care or food stamps. I would love to have medical care but can't afford it. BUt the people of BOTH parties in washington have FORGOTTEN about the American people who actually keep the country going. They are more concerned with other countries, big business and themselves. A VERY SELFISH GROUP OF PEOPLE IN WASHINGTON TODAY. The Anerican people need to remember this in NOV. and choose the BEST person for the job not chose along party lines.

Slip on over and pick any blog topic about the illegals and see what the comments are. It seems that there ARE a few patriots among rank and file Democrats who will not swallow the party line whole, just as there are some of us on this side of the wall who believe the same! I would not be surprized to see the DNC shut off comments or make them so that they can be edited first!

Record-Breaking Rainy Month in Hawaii Ends (AP)

A girl walks on the waters edge, as a warning sign is posted on Kahanamoku Beach warns swimmers of contaminated waters from a recent sewage spill, Friday, March 31, 2006 in Honolulu. Several popular beaches in Waikiki were closed to swimmers because of a high bacteria count due to the sewage spill. Heavy rains pounded Oahu on Friday, flooding a mall, several homes and causing gridlock on the roadways. WSJ.com - Opinion Journal - Populists Beware!

The GOP must not become an anti-immigration party.

BY EDWARD GILLESPIE

Sunday, April 2, 2006 12:01 a.m.

In coming weeks, Republicans in Congress must choose either a comprehensive immigration reform package including a guest-worker program or a narrowly focused border-security bill. The former would improve homeland security, help our economy and build greater Republican majorities. The latter, conversely, would ignore fundamental problems, hurt our economy and risk the party's majority status.

Lawbreakers should not be rewarded with citizenship, but respect for the rule of law need not conflict with two other pillars of conservative philosophy: freedom and economic growth. A rational immigration policy that allows workers to enter and exit this country for temporary employment will make us more secure. Law enforcement will face fewer problems with undocumented workers and will be better able to focus on the true threats to our nation from criminals and terrorists.

[Legal immigrants are welcome with open arms as they always have been. Anyone who paints this in any other light is just agitating for the socialist Democrats who are soft on immigration, defense, law enforcement, and anything else that would help and build this country. They ARE hard core on taxing and spending, and filling all available positions with patronage appointees. When you ask them what they will do they either have no plan or make pie-in-the-sky platitudes with no way to implement the statements. Sort of like McGovern's "chicken in every pot".]

Remember to change your clocks tonight!

Here in Michigan is it time to "Spring ahead in the spring"!

Tonight we set our clocks ahead 1 hour for the spring ritual of Daylight Savings Time!

Anyone forgetting this will probably get to church in time to greet people leaving!

[note: I thought I had changed all of 'em and this morning discovered the clock in the microwave was still on EST. Oh well...]

Censure and Impeachment

The lunatic left still has censure and impeachment on the brain. Why? It is a hate thang! The lefties are experts on hating and hate crimes. They wander through life always under a dark cloud. I would not be surprized to learn that the suicide rate in the hard core socialist crowd is higher than the normal population. No one can walk around all the time with that much rage and hate bottled up all the time. Actually they have safety valves so Democrats vent randomly. Howard Dean became SDNC chairman because of his volcanic spew of hate and lies. He is the leader of the Socialist Democrat Lunatic Left.

Here is a link to a video about the Lunatic Left's mentally unstable, unhealthy drive for censure and impeachment using their *BIG LIE as source of evidence and proof. If the BIG LIE doesn't contain the necessary documentation, it will be invented and inserted on the spot. No worries about anyone in the media asking questions (tough or otherwise) because they own the media. All it will require is that their demonic choir of fellow travellers all harmonize. They all are now required to check into the DailyKOS or MoveOn web pages for their daily indoctrination and spew word of the day. Click the link above to view the video.

* The BIG LIE is their living masterpiece. It is an ever evolving Democrat Masterwork of deception, distortion, and outright lies. It is necessarily a living document because with a Democrat the truth depends at which angle you view a subject. They always want to be sure to get the proper slant so they can get correct distortion.

Three juveniles back in custody after fleeing Kent County lockup

GRAND RAPIDS -- Three handcuffed detainees escaped from custody while being transported back to a juvenile lockup after a court appearance, but two were recaptured and the third turned herself in to police.

Three juveniles back in custody after fleeing Kent County lockup

All prisoner transfers between lockup and courthouse are handled by the Sheriffs Department by jail guards or regular deputies. This is the second escape in a month, so I suspect that Sheriff Larry Stelma will be making some changes at the department. The transfer deputy from the first break is pushing papers at a desk, so this was a different deputy that screwed up. He has not been publicly identified and once again, disciplinary action is being handled internally. All three escapees have been recaptured.

Socialist AP persists in reporting 500,000 Mexicans in LA

The propaganda arm of the Socialist Democrats, the Associated Press, is still reporting that the demonstration in LA was 500,000 Mexicans. The INS with help from the Army should have gathered them all and pushed them across the border. Then those who are citizens could legally come back through the crossing if they can prove it. That would actually put a measurable dent in the huge number of illegal Mexicans in this country. Then when demonstrastions of this type are held anywhere here in the USA the same procedure could be done. Watch the number of illegals drop.

Want to find more illegals? Offer a bounty. For each illegal Mexican turned in and picked up by INS, the spotter gets a reward. Remember these are law breakers, not citizens. Once that legislation passes, they will be felons. Then maybe bounty hunters could get into the act of retrieving felonious Mexicans. They will get an ID then, as a known felon. On next capture they could get housing in a penal colony somewhere.

If the pansy Senators come up with a piece of legislation allowing amnesty, the whole bunch of them should be voted out of office in favor of those who will protect our borders and enforce the laws of the land as they took an oath to do. Next thing you know, these pansy, lily livered, weak kneed, linguini spined senators will be wanting to send voter registration forms into the prisons to give them back a vote too. They would be most interested in the mental institution vote though. We already have two of this type representing Michigan, Stabenow and Levin! From reports in the print and electronic media, McCain, Kennedy, Feingold, Feinswine, Rodham, Obama, and Specter also fit the description. I suspect that you would not find more than a meager handfull of senators who would be able to stand up and represent the citizens of this country. The gang of seven are good examples of bleeding hearts who would never defend citizen rights.

Hmmm.... this McCain-Kennedy legislation amounts to an amnesty program and an Illegal Alien Bill of Rights! We can NOT afford to have McCain as our candidate.

GOP Leadership...we DEMAND a closed primary. No crossover allowed.

> Yeah when we had the Bill and Hillary 2-for-1 presidency!
